When you fish with me, you are guaranteed to get one of the most professional, courteous and knowledgeable sight fishing guides in the industry. I absolutely love my job and I enjoy meeting new people and sharing everything I have learned through years of being on the water and woods.  I have heard horror stories of people booking with a guide and getting yelled at or belittled for not doing something right. That is the last thing you can expect when you book with me. This is supposed to be a fun, relaxing and educational experience. I have the patience and will take the time to work with you to make you a more well-rounded angler. One thing I can guarantee is that I will work hard for you from the time you step on the ice or my boat 'till the very last cast. I look forward to fishing with you!

In my years of experience, I have always found the morning to be when the fish are most active. Most trips start before daybreak but I am open to afternoon trips if that works better for your schedule

I provide just about everything you will need. I will provide all the rods, reels and tackle but feel free to bring your own if you’d like. There will be plenty of ice and drinks on the boat. Typically, the drinks I keep on board are bottled water and Gatorade. If you prefer something else, you are more than welcome to bring it and store it in the cooler. I always recommend bringing a light snack or lunch if you book a longer trip. At certain times of year, the cold or sun can take its toll so I always recommend bringing a hat, sunglasses and wearing some kind of long sleeves to protect your skin. I carry plenty of sunscreen.  Feel free to bring your own gear and baits.

We will do the majority of our fishing from a heated fish house set at comfortable temperatures, with that being said, I still suggest you to bring warm, windproof outerwear and clothing rated for outdoor winter activities, hat, gloves/mitts, waterproof footwear suitable for snow and ice, camera (phone), lunch if staying out on the ice at midday, snack, drinks, and readiness for outdoor adventures!  We will have all of the necessary equipment needed to fish but you are welcome to bring your own gear (light walleye or panfish rod - no braid)
